Mary Grace Fine Art

Abstract painting has liberated me from the representational constraints I experienced as an illustrator and harmoniously transitioned my work into spontaneous, expressive movement within self-imposed boundaries. I am learning with every painting how to effectively build up surfaces that add physical dimension, using texture strategically to create focal points and explore color field definition.

I am still telling stories, but with unpredictable and random authenticity.
